I went to Download.com to find AVG antivirus software. Before downloading, I decided to learn more about the product and to read the reviews by users and CNET editors. I learned that the publisher of AVG antivirus software is Grisoft.
Grisoft only makes AVG antivirus software and does not publish any other products. They started as a company in Czechoslovakia in 1991. Grisoft is a privately held company with corporate offices in Europe and the the United States.

There seemed to be a general opinion that the tool would be better if the updates could be scheduled and not just happen whenever they want to. If I decide to have AVG antivirus software on my computer, this is definitely a consideration.
Most of the compliments from users were that the file space was less for AVG antivirus software than other antivirus software. There were also a lot of happy words about the product being free.
